Banana Split Toffee also called Palm Toffee - The traditional toffee Banana split is one of the old fashioned toffees. Now made by hand in Yorkshire and broken with a toffee hammer to be sold loose. A delight to the eye and the banana taste will excite your taste buds, you will need a good set of teeth or somebody else's.
On the odd occassion, toffee pieces get stuck together, but all you need to do is bang it a couple of times with a hammer to break it up.
