Peanut Brittle or Nutty Slack - Rich golden brown very brittle toffee. Whole peanuts encased in the toffee. A real old fashioned favourite. Now made by hand in Yorkshire and broken with a toffee hammer to be sold loose.
Gluten Free. Back in the good old days the well to do would buy a
quarter pound (4ozs) of sweets which is equal to 113.45gms and the not
so well off would buy 2ozs of sweets which is equal to 56gms of sweets!
