Sarsaparilla Tablets
Handcrafted, sugar free copper pan cooked sweets. It reminds me of the taste of 'Bongela'. Truly based on the flavour of American root beer. Many years ago, Sarsaparilla was bought into the country by the Mormons to encourage drinking men away from public houses, and was given away free outside pubs.
150gms - This is the closest size to ¼ lb
250gms - This is the closest size to ½ lb
400gms - This is just less than 1 lb in weight
700gms - This is just over 1½ lbs in weight
Back in the good old days the well to do would buy a
quarter pound (4ozs) of sweets which is equal to 113.45gms and the not
